Essential oils for your hair

Most of us struggle with our hair and we do not know what to use exactly to help with growth and keeping it healthy, we get confused with which route to go, the organic way or  to use chemicals.

A lot of people are going for organic and natural oils, that way one has a clear idea of what is in a product they are actually using. Organic oils, as some call them, do not require any ‘chemical’ additions as they do the job well on their own. Below are a few oils that help with hair growth:
  • AMLA OIL

BENEFITS

Promotes hair growth and nourishes hair. Reduces hair loss, darkens hair naturally and improves scalp health.

HOW TO USE

Massage oil on your hair and onto your scalp and rinse out after 15 minutes or leave overnight and wash out the following day.

  • MACADAMIA OIL

BENEFITS

Strengthens hair and gives natural SPF 6. Prevents hair damage, heals split ends and moisturizes dry hair.

HOW TO USE

Use the oil as a leave in conditioner for all day protection.

  • AVOCADO OIL

BENEFITS

Repairs damaged hair, moisturizes, anti-dandruff and you get smooth silky hair.

HOW TO USE

Mix the oil with your hair conditioner and leave for about 10 minutes then rinse off with cool water.

  • JOJOBA OIL

BENEFITS

Moisturizes hair, treats dry and itchy scalp, prevents hair loss and tames dryness and frizz.

HOW TO USE

Dab some oil on the bristles of your brush before combing your hair.

  • ARGAN OIL

BENEFITS

Makes hair stronger, nourishes and conditions, adds shine and softens and helps with detangling.

HOW TO USE

Pour a few drops on your hands, smooth into your hair from root to tips and blow-dry.

I am definitely going to try some of these, if not all and see where that takes me, I am very conscious of what I let my hair get into contact with off late, I want to grow my hair the right way, that works for me and I am slowly breaking out of my lazy shell!

We all want beautiful hair, the trick is research, and trying out different items, safely, till you what works for you.
