It’s the age-old- guilty pleasure, you’re curled up on the couch with some friends for a fun girls’ night in. With all sorts of junk food, on one hand, blankets everywhere and the urge to cry to a good movie about love. Well, worry not about what to watch because I have compiled a list of the 5 best chick flicks to watch when in this dilemma.
1. The Notebook (2004)
The Notebook is a classic love story that’s bound is a classic love story that’s bound to make you laugh, cry and wish you had a Noah of your own. How can you not love this heart-warming, sentimental tearjerker?
2. The Luck One (2012)
Zac Efron is so irresistible and oh-so-handsome in this romantic click flick and fate brings him to the woman who kept him going during his time in the war. This movie is romantic and absolutely irresistible and will take you through the motions. The plot is an interesting twist on a love story, making it different than most romantic movies.
3. The Parent Trap (1998)
This might be a twist, but how many guys do you know who love The Parent Trap? Before Lindsay Lohan went a bit “Parental Guidance is advised”, she was an adorable redhead. This movie is a classic and fun for any night in.
4. When Harry Met Sally (1989)
When Harry Met Sally is a classic friendship-turned- relationship story. It is a must-see flick for everybody and yes that also means its boyfriend friendly.
5. Pretty Woman (1990)
This is where my obsession with Julia Roberts started. This movie is hilarious and romantic. It’s a must-see for every girl. I would watch this movie over and over again. Plus, who doesn’t love a good 90’s movie?
